Morgan County Sheriff’s Department Makes Arrest After 6 Puppies Thrown Off Bridge

In a Facebook Post, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department announced a person has been taken into custody this week after 6 puppies were thrown off a bridge in the Burrville Community.  The puppies were discovered around Christmas Day and only one survived.  The Sheriff’s Department says a combination of hard work by Investigators along with help from citizens led to the arrest of a 24-year-old male.  The suspect was held at the Morgan County Jail without bond on unrelated charges while the investigation continued. The Department anticipated he would be formally charged with 6 counts of Animal Cruelty. The Sheriff’s Department did not release the suspect’s name.
