Crossville Police Apprehend Sparta Man For Outstanding Warrant/Violation of Sex Offender Registry

A Sparta man faces multiple charges after Crossville Police responded to a traffic accident on Waterview Drive around 8pm Sunday.  While investigating the accident, police discovered that the driver, 51-year-old James Scott Durham, is on the Sex Offender Registry and the vehicle he was driving was not listed with the Registry. Mr. Durham also had an outstanding warrant in White County.  Durham was placed in custody and a warrant was signed for Violation of the Sex Offender Registry.
