The Cumberland County High School Jets traveled to Upperman for District Tournament action Friday night. The Jets season ended as they fell to the Bees 52-41. The Jets enjoyed a 1-point advantage at the half, but the home team outscored CCHS 18 to 8 in the third quarter and went on to the win. Upperman advances to the semi-finals and the Jets conclude their campaign with a 6 and 24 record.
The Cumberland County High School Lady Jets will be in action in the tournament semi-finals on Saturday (2/18) at 7:00 as they play the Upperman Lady Bees at Tennessee Tech. Catch the action on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
The Stone Memorial High School Panthers will play their first tournament game on Monday (2/20). The Panthers, the tourney’s top-seed, will take the court against the White County Warriors at 7:30. Follow the Panthers during the postseason on Mix 99.3.
