The Cumberland County High School Lady Jets were in action Tuesday as they played in the District 7AAA Tournament consolation game against the White County High School Warriorettes. The Lady Jets posted wins in the two regular season meetings. In game number three this season for the two teams, the Lady Jets recorded another victory, claiming third place in the District Tournament with a 71-62 win. Next up for the Lady Jets is a road trip to Tullahoma to play the Lady Wildcats in round one of the Region 4AAA Tournament Friday (2/24) at 7:00. Hear the action live on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY. The Upperman Lady Bees claimed the tourney title as they downed Livingston Academy.
Stone Memorial High School will play in the Consolation Game of the District Tournament, Wednesday (2/22) at 6:00 as they take on the Livingston Academy Wildcats at SMHS. It’s a match-up of two team ranked in the final AP State Top Ten. The teams split their two games during the regular season. Hear the Panthers action live on Mix 99.3 beginning at 5:55.
