The recently formed Cumberland Plateau Water Authority board, met for their second meeting on Monday (3/6/23). Board members approved their first resolution to accept a $500,000 loan from the Crab Orchard Utility District. The loan would give the authority an operating budget. It still must be approved by the Crab Orchard Utility District board and the state comptroller. Chairman Greg Hanson also announced the development of a website, cpwaTN.com. The site is still under construction. The next meeting is scheduled for April 3rd in the Cumberland Medical Center conference room.
