The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed 15 weather-related fatalities from storms that tore through the state Friday and Saturday. Nine people died in McNairy County, three in Shelby County, one in Roane County, one in Tipton County and one in Henry County.
At this time, officials have 527 structures with confirmed damage. TEMA is assisting with ongoing damage assessments in storm impacted communities. The State Emergency Operations Center is activated in Nashville to support statewide severe weather recovery.
