Knoxville Teacher Grazed By Bullett After Gun Goes Off Inside Classroom Friday

A Knoxville teacher was grazed by a bullet on Friday after a gun discharged  inside a classroom.  It happened at West High School.  WVLT reports the gun went off accidentally while inside the backpack of a 14-year-old male student.  The school was placed on lockdown and dismissed at 12:30pm.  There were no serious injuries. The boy was taken into custody and charged with reckless endangerment, reckless aggravated assault and possession of a weapon on school grounds.
