Rutherford County Sheriff’s Detective Jacob Beu died after his vehicle crashed on Sunday. He was reportedly on-duty at the time. Officials did not immediately say what may have caused the crash.
During the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run Monday (5/8/2023), Murfreesboro Police and Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers were recognized for carrying flags honoring Sheriff’s Detective Jacob Beu’s six years of service to the sheriff’s office and service to the U.S. Marine Corps.
