The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reports a suspect faces DUI and numerous drug charges after crashing on Garrison Road last week. Deputies responded to the scene and made contact with Dustin Grasty, the driver of the vehicle, who had an active local arrest warrant. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Grasty was intoxicated and had driven his vehicle through a fence.
Grasty was found to be in possession of several bottles of pills, drug paraphernalia, several debit cards with other peoples’ name on them and bottles of urine.
Deputy Boyer arrested Grasty on the warrant and charged him with Violation of Probation, DUI, Simple Possession, Vandalism, Driving on Suspended, Falsification of Drug Test Results, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Grasty has a bond of $14,000 and a court date of June 12, 2023.
