Returned! TN National Guard Money Box Containing Hundreds Of Dollars Returned After Falling Off Truck In Franklin County

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a money box that fell off a  Tennessee National Guard truck in Franklin County on Saturday (6/3/2023) morning has been returned. The box belongs to the Soldiers of RFS 278th ACR out of Winchester and contained about $750. It fell off while the truck was making a turn.  It was allegedly picked up by an elderly white man.  The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office had posted to social media that they were looking for the man and if he turned the money in to them there will be no further investigation.  Apparently that happened because the Sheriff’s Office update simply said, “The box and all of its contents has been returned.”
