The Cumberland Plateau Water Authority is hoping to begin strategic sessions soon on how to combine the resources of area water districts and the city of Crossville. In their monthly meeting on Monday, the Authority began making plans to invite district board members to a work session in the coming weeks to discuss their operations and how they could be best served by merging. In other matters the Authority approved the selection of One Bank for its banking needs and initial deposit of a loan from the Crab Orchard Utility District in the amount of $500,000. Authority members will meet a week late for July due to the 4th of July holiday. The July meeting is scheduled for July 10th.
