There were at least two drowning victims on Tennessee waterways over the weekend. A 22-year-old man drowned while boating on Fort Loudon Lake Saturday afternoon. Authorities say Charles Ebguniwe was swimming from a boat toward shore when he went under and never resurfaced.
A 38-year-old man drowned Saturday on Tims Ford Lake in Franklin County. His body was recovered around 2:30pm in the Awalt area of the lake.
TWRA urges everyone to wear a life jacket at all times while boating and swimming.
