A Gainesboro man was arrested for driving under the influence after Crossville Police were dispatched to a reckless driver on Miller Avenue. According to the report, 30-year-old Jonathan Taylor Masters was later observed on Highway 127 North traveling over the center line with the tires of his white Jeep Grand Cherokee touching the grass. A stop was initiated and as Mr. Masters was stepping from the vehicle, police say a cut straw fell away from him and onto the ground. An aluminum foil with residue was discovered in his wallet. Masters stated the residue was Heroin. After failing the Field Sobriety Tests, he was transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center and charged with DUI.
