Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton (R-Crossville) joined representatives from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and local leaders from Cumberland Mountain State Park to present a $50,000 check to Cumberland Good Samaritan’s Inc. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. The funding will support scholarships to Camp Tanase — an overnight summer camp hosted by Tennessee State Parks at Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson County for kids ages 10-14. On his Facebook page, Speaker Sexton said, “Appreciate all for their partnership as we secured this state appropriation. It’ll help more kids relax, learn, and grow!”
