A deputy with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office was arrested Wednesday night for Domestic Assault against a family member. Deputy Rachel Thomas, age 27, was placed on a mandatory 12-hour hold and bond was set at $1,000. Deputy Thomas was also immediately placed on administrative leave and relieved of all law enforcement authority pending an internal review of the incident.
