A patient fatally shot a surgeon in Collierville, Tennessee. It happened around 2pm Tuesday inside an exam room at the Campbell Clinic. The deceased has been identified as 43-year-old orthopedic surgeon Dr. Benjamin Mauck. The shooter, 29-year-old Larry Pickens, was arrested within in 5 minutes of killing the doctor. He still had the gun when he was apprehended. Pickens has been charged with First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault and bond was set at $1.2 million. Authorities did not say why Pickens was at the clinic or give a motive for the deadly shooting.
