The Putnam County Criminal Court Grand Jury has indicted 54-year-old Alex William Moore on 13 counts of Rape of a Child. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reports Detective Brian Haworth began an investigation in May which ultimately resulted in Moore confessing to the inappropriate touching of the two female juveniles out of curiosity and accessibility. On Friday July 14, 2023, Sgt. Matthew Duncan arrested Moore on 9 counts of Aggravated Rape of a Child, and 4 counts of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. Moore has a bond of $3,000,000 and a court date of Monday, July 23, 2023.
