The Crossville Fire Department and Police Department were called out around 4:30 Tuesday morning to reports of multiple buildings on fire. Crossville Fire Chief Chris South says firefighters were dispatched to Methodist Campground Loop on Old Jamestown Highway to find a large pavilion fully involved, as well as a bathhouse and event building ablaze. Firefighters were able to contain the bathhouse and event building fires but the pavilion was a total loss. Investigators determined the fires to be arson and apprehended a suspect just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The investigation is still ongoing. (photo courtesy Crossville Fire & Rescue Facebook)
