Missing Jet Skier’s Body Found Monday In Tims Ford Lake

The body of a missing jet skier was recovered Monday morning at Tims Ford Lake.  Bystanders reported 80-year-old Edward Harper, of Estill Springs, missing Sunday night after finding a truck backed down on a boat ramp and a jet ski floating nearby.  Authorities think Mr. Harper was trying to load the jet ski onto his trailer when he went into the water. The TWRA says Harper was not wearing a life jacket.  His death marks Tennessee’s 19^th fatal boating incident this year.
