The University of Tennessee is ranked No. 12 in the latest AP Poll, released Monday afternoon. WVLT reports that’s the highest start for Tennessee since 2016. Georgia is ranked No. 1 followed by Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama and LSU rounding out the Top 5. The Vols start their season on Saturday, September 2 against the Virginia Cavaliers.
