The Crossville Police Department has released the name of a suspect in a road rage incident that prompted the lockdown of two Cumberland County schools Tuesday morning.  According to reports, Police responded around 8am to Stone Elementary in reference to a possible shooting that had occurred in front of LBJC Head Start on East First Street, where the alleged shooter had already pulled over onto school property.  The driver, 24-year-old Mathew A. Polson, reportedly admitted to waving a gun out of his vehicle window during a road rage incident.  Police seized a 9mm loaded pistol and transported Mr. Polson to the Cumberland County Justice Center.  Police say a 5-year-old child and an 18-month old baby were in Polson’s vehicle when he was placed in custody.
