A man suspected of robbing a bank in Colorado has been arrested in Putnam County. According to a press release, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office was made aware that Jerry Robert Stubbins may be in the Putnam County area.
On August 25, 2023, Jerry Stubbins reportedly robbed ENT Credit Union in Colorado Springs, Colorado and escaped with $20,000. He was driving a silver minivan.
On Friday, September 1, 2023, Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies located the vehicle outside of Dollar General on North Washington Avenue in Cookeville with Stubbins being located inside of the store.
Deputy JD Reels arrested and charged Stubbins with Felony Fugitive from Justice. Stubbins is being held without bond and has a court date of Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
