Sales tax collections for the City of Crossville at $1.13 million for the latest period

Crossville City Manager Greg Wood, during Tuesday’s council meeting, announced the latest figures for sales tax revenue. According to Wood’s report, the city collected $1.13 million in sales tax for June, the final period of the 2022-23 fiscal year. That brings the yearly total to $11.59 million, up by almost $1 million from the previous year. Wholesale beer taxes were down for the year with collections falling short of the previous year by about $6,000.
