With less than two weeks remaining until the October 20 tnAchieves mentor application deadline, Cumberland County still needs 24 mentors to meet local student demand.
Bedford County needs 27 tnAchieves mentors. Coffee County needs 43. DeKalb County still needs 14 tnAchieves mentors. Fentress County needs 10 . Morgan County needs One. Putnam 54, Rhea needs 20. Sequatchie County 2 and White county needs 20 tnAchieves mentors.
tnAchieves mentors provide support and guidance to TN Promise college students. Mentors must be 21 years of age and commit just one hour per month to serve students in their community. tnAchieves provides a training, handbook and weekly updates throughout the year. tnAchieves also provides monthly webinars to ensure mentors have ongoing support in their work with students.
