It’s the Last Shopping Weekend For Tennessee’s Food Tax Holiday, Ends 11:59pm Oct. 31, 2023

This is the last shopping weekend to take advantage of Tennessee’s Food Tax Holiday.  Food and food ingredient will still be exempt from sales tax until 11:59pm on Tuesday, October 31.  Sales of prepared food, dietary supplements, candy, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco are not included in items exempt during this period.  During the tax holiday, Tennesseans were expected to save an estimated $273 million in taxes total.
