An Oliver Springs man faces charges after a domestic incident turned violent

Knoxville Police charged an Anderson County man with domestic assault and aggravated kidnapping. Matthew Green, 40, of Oliver Springs was charged after he had been involved in a domestic situation that resulted in him suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Green was shot by his son and was taken to a Knoxville hospital for treatment. He also had pending warrants from Oak Ridge and Roane County. According to the Knoxville Police Department, the son is not facing any charges in the incident.
