Portions of Renegade Mountain in Crab Orchard, TN are reportedly being evacuated due to structure and woods fires. Residents who remain may be without electricity and water while fire personnel fight these blazes. Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution and avoid the area of Renegade Mountain. Motorists on Hwy 70 and I-40 should also be on the alert for first responders going to and from the scene.
The Crossville/Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency says temporary shelters for residents have been established at Crab Orchard City Hall and Crab Orchard Christian Church. (Photo submitted)
