It was a major day on Rocky Top as the 18th ranked Tennessee Volunteers hosted the #1 team in the land the Georgia Bulldogs. Tennessee got the crowd roaring on the first play of the game when Jaylen Wright broke off a 75-yard touchdown rush. After the Vols took a 7-0 lead it was all Georgia as the Bulldogs defeat the Volunteers with a final of 38-10.
Joe Milton III threw 17/30 for 147 yards. Jaylen Wright led the Vols in rushing with 90 yards. Wright also had Tennessee’s only touchdown. Georgia’s Carson Beck threw 24/30 with 298 yards with 3 touchdowns with Marcus Rosemy with 2 receiving touchdown, Brock Bowers with 1 receiving touchdown and Dillon Bell with a receiving touchdown as well. Dillon Bell also had a passing touchdown. Kendal Milton had the only rushing touchdown for Georgia.
