The Silver Alert for 76-year-old Jackie Glynn, of Nashville, has come to a tragic end after her body was found in Smithville. The TBI initially said she had been missing since January 1st. Her husband, 70-year-old Joseph Glynn, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with criminal homicide, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. Joseph Glynn allegedly hit his wife in the head with a hammer on New Year’s Day and then buried her body on property they own on Allen Bend Road in DeKalb County.  He was placed in the Metro Nashville jail and his bond was set at more than $1 million.  Jackie Glynn was reportedly the former owner of the historic Riverwood Mansion that dates back to the late 1700’s. She and her husband purchased it in 1994 and turned it into a popular wedding and events venue in Nashville. They sold it in 2015.
