The eyes of the wrestling world were on Crossville on Friday night as Cumberland County hosted rival Stone Memorial to crown a district champion. Both the Jets and Panthers defeated other teams in the district like: York, Livingston Academy, and Upperman all leading up to Friday night. After a back and fourth dual Stone Memorial defeated Cumberland County 48-36 and were crowned the 2023-24 District Champions. The Panthers add another District Championship to their championship history as well as extend their winning streak over CCHS. Next both SMHS & CCHS will go to the Region Tournament which will be at SMHS on Tuesday January 23rd. Good Luck to both schools in the Region Tournament!
