Jan 31, 2024 | 2:23 PM

A father and son from Overton County will be sentenced in May in connection to the death of a Cookeville couple.  Robert Cravens and his son Ryan “Bo” Cravens have been found guilty of voluntary manslaughter, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, in the deaths of 39-year-old Kristie Wilson and her boyfriend 45-year-old Henry Wilson.

The couple was last seen alive in May 2018 when they stopped at a gas station in Monterey.

In late September of 2018, Kristie’s vehicle was found off an embankment in Fentress County but there were no signs of the missing couple. In late October of 2021, the couple’s remains were found in a remote area of Overton County.  Investigators developed information leading to the Cravens who were arrested in November of 2021.

Sentencing is set for Monday, May 13, 2024.
