Area Fire and Law Enforcement Take Advantage of TBI’s Arson Investigation Class

Fire and law enforcement professionals from multiple agencies took advantage of the “Arson Investigation” class presented this week by TBI Special Agent Fire Investigators. The class was two days long and conducted at the Monterey Police Department. There were 37 students from 17 agencies across the state who learned about the many areas of fire investigations, with an emphasis on arson investigations.   Some of the agencies in attendance were the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Fairfield Glade Police Department, Jamestown Police Department, Monterey Police Department, Monterey Fire Department, Cookeville Fire Department, Algood Police Department, Algood Fire Department, Overton County Sheriff’s Office, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, Warren County Sheriff’s Office and McMinnville Police Department.
