An 18-year-old was ejected from her vehicle Thursday morning (2/8/24) on I-40 in Cumberland County. It happened around 9:20am at the 336 eastbound mile marker. According to the THP, Madison Leigh Tate was driving east when she lost control of her 2011 Honda Accord in a curve. The Honda left the roadway, overturned in a ditch and landed on its top. Tate was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown about 75 feet from the car into the wood line. The THP did not list the extent of her injuries.
