Crossville City Council officially names Valerie Hale as City Manager

In a 5-0 vote, the Crossville City Council in regular session on Tuesday, officially hired current City Clerk Valerie Hale as the new City Manager. The appointment is the first time a woman has been hired as manager of the city. Hale will take over the duties effective April 1^st. In other action, the council approved the extension of the current manager’s contract through March.
