The Cumberland County Commission met in regular session on Tuesday

Cumberland County County Commissioners, in February’s regular session, approved a resolution to accept several offers for delinquent tax properties. Several lots in Tansi and Fairfield Glade will be returned to the tax rolls after the commission approved the offers in a unanimous vote. In other action, commissioners approved a resolution amending the budget to purchase a vacant lot between the courthouse property and the library. The resolution will amend the budget by $230,000. The commission also approved the appointment of Matthew McClanahan and Kira Updike to the Agricultural Extension Committee. Both were approved for a two year term in a 15-0 vote.
