Director of Schools William Stepp has announced that Cumberland County Schools will dismiss early on Monday, April 8, 2024, as the partial solar eclipse is a great learning opportunity. Students will receive breakfast, lunch, and eclipse viewing glasses. Schools will close on April 8 at 11:15 Central Time.
Morgan County Schools will be implementing a remote learning day on April 8 due to the eclipse.
Roane County Schools will also dismiss early with students provided breakfast, lunch, and eclipse viewing glasses.
