The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Flynns Cove Road Saturday morning (3/30/24) for power lines on the road. It happened around 10am. Authorities found a broken pole on the ground and a witness said a Dollar General semi truck caught the electric lines and did not stop. Deputies were unable to make contact with the semi. Volunteer Electric was waiting for an estimate on damages at the time of the report.
