In regular session for April, the Cumberland Plateau Water Authority made little progress in the search for a potential manager. Vice Chairman Sean Stephens noted it was a chicken and egg scenario that asks the question, will utility districts join without a manager, or would a manager apply if there were no members to manage and no stable funding source? Stephens said he plans to make a motion at the next meeting to ask districts and the city if they intend to participate in the authority in hopes of moving forward. The next session is scheduled for May 6th at 6 PM at the Cumberland Medical Center conference room.
