A hearse, reportedly transporting a body, crashed on I-40 Monday morning (4/8/24) in Cumberland County, injuring the driver. According to the THP, 65-year-old Ricky D. Anderson was driving west around 10:40am when a vehicle merged over in front of the hearse near the 333 west bound mile marker. This caused Mr. Anderson to serve to avoid a collision. He lost control and struck the guard rail end. The THP did not list the extent of the driver’s injuries. No charges are pending.
