A Florida truck driver was served a warrant for Simple Assault Wednesday (4/24/24) in Crossville. According to reports, Crossville Police were dispatched to a fight at the Pilot on Genesis Road where they encountered 32-year-old Jarrious Lamon Williams of Winter Park, who said he and his co-driver had gotten into an argument that turned physical and he was thrown out of the truck along with his belongings. Mr. Williams complained of back pain and was taken to the hospital by EMS. Police spoke with the other truck driver and who said Williams hit him first. Police obtained a warrant for Williams and upon his release from the hospital, Williams was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center.
