Apr 30, 2024 | 9:48 AM

A Crossville man has been charged after he allegedly attacked another man with a garden hoe.  According to reports, Deputies responded to a fight between two men at a residence in the 5500 block of Highway 70 North around 10:30pm Monday.  Neither would tell Deputies what happened, however witnesses told police that 26-year-old Shane Michael Farr and the 26-year-old male victim were arguing and Farr grabbed a garden hoe and hit the victim over his back right shoulder three times, leaving a red mark across the victim’s back.  The victim then reportedly hit Farr in the face with a frying pan.  The report states the males broke almost everything in the kitchen, living room and on the porch during the altercation.  Farr was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center for booking and charged with Aggravated Assault.   The report does not state why the men were arguing.
