Crossville PD Looking for Female Who Stole Another Customer’s Change at Walmart Self-Checkout

Crossville Police are looking for the woman who stole another customer’s change at the Walmart self-checkout. Police responded to the store shortly after 1pm Wednesday (5/15/2024) after the victim reported they had forgotten their $100 change.  Surveillance video shows the next customer was a female who scanned her items and pressed the “No Cashback” option.  The female then noticed the money in the cash dispenser, grabbed it and counted 5-twenty dollar bills. She took her receipt, wrapped it around the money, put it in her purse and left Walmart without any attempt to find the owner or notify an employee.  Police say the suspect is a white female who was wearing a blue and white striped shirt and khaki style pants.  She left the parking lot in a dark blue Subaru Forester.
