TDOT Maintenance Crews will be performing mobile pothole patching operations on I-40 East and West Bound in Cumberland County on Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Work will be performed from the 317 mile marker to the 340 mile marker from 8am to 3:30pm. Please remember that Tennessee law requires motorists to move over into an adjacent lane of traffic, when safe to do so, or alternatively to slow down when approaching work crews and highway maintenance vehicles. The penalty for violating the Move Over Law in Tennessee is a maximum fine of up to $500 and possibly up to 30 days in jail.
