The ACC/SEC challenge for College Basketball is returning for a second straight year. Last year the Vols and Lady Vols fell in both their games. Tennessee fell to North Carolina 100-92, while the Lady Vols fell to Notre Dame 74-69. Tennessee will looking to get redemption in this years challenge.
According to Tennessee Men’s Basketball, he Tennessee men’s basketball team will host Syracuse in the second annual SEC/ACC Challenge, as announced Wednesday evening by ESPN. The Volunteers and Orange will play Dec. 3 at Food City Center, with the tip time and specific ESPN network to be announced at a later point.
According to Tennessee Women’s Basketball, ESPN shared the first look at Tennessee’s 2024-25 women’s basketball schedule on Wednesday, announcing the Lady Vols will play host to Florida State on Dec. 4 as part of a 16-game SEC-ACC Women’s Basketball Challenge over a two-day period. The Big Orange and the Seminoles are slated to play in one of six match-ups on that Wednesday, with 10 more taking place on Thursday. Tip times and broadcast designations will be released later.
