NASCAR Wraps Up Weekend in Nashville

For the third straight year NASCAR and their three major touring series competed at Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon. The weekend started on Friday night when the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series raced the Rackley Roofing 200, Saturday afternoon the NASCAR Xfinity Series raced the Tennessee Lottery 250, and that all led to the NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 on Sunday.

Friday night Christian Eckes led all 150 laps to earn the victory. Friday night gave Eckes his 3rd win of the season. Saturday it was John Hunter Nemechek winning the Tennessee Lottery 250 in the Xfinity Series for his 2nd Xfinity Series win of the year. Finally after an overtime ridden race Joey Logano earned his first Points race win of the year locking himself in NASCAR’s Playoff. NASCAR will return to the Volunteer State in September for a weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.
