AAA reports gas prices across the state rose six cents, on average, ahead of Independence Day last week, before holding steady over the weekend. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $3.16 which is 12 cents more expensive than one month ago and five cents more than one year ago.
Monday’s national gas price average was $3.50, which is five cents more expensive than one month ago and three cents less expensive than one year ago.
