According to Tennessee Athletics, The University of Tennessee is represented by 132 student-athletes on the 2024 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll that was announced Tuesday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.
The rowing team hit the high mark on Rocky Top with 42 honorees, followed by baseball and women’s track & field with 20 each. Other squads from UT and their numbers of representatives on the spring honor roll included softball (17), men’s track & field (12), men’s golf (6), women’s golf (6), women’s tennis (6) and men’s tennis (3).
A total of 1,429 student-athletes from around the league were named to the 2024 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll. It is based on grades from the 2023-24 summer, fall and spring terms.
Any student‐athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport or a student‐athlete who participates in a sport listed on his/her institution’s NCAA Sports Sponsorship Form is eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll.
