The hit and run suspect in the death of a Tennessee State University football player has surrendered to authorities.
Arsenio Miller, age 33, turned himself in to Metro Nashville Police, over three months after the deadly incident.
On April 14, 2024 around 1:30am, TSU football player Chazan Page was walking across Gallatin Pike with his girlfriend and others when a maroon SUV came toward. Page pushed his girlfriend and everyone else out of the way and took the full impact of the crash. The driver of the SUV did not stop.
Police found a vehicle owned by Miller that had damage consistent with hitting a pedestrian in the back yard of a relative’s home. Police say Miller refused to be interviewed in April.
Arsenio D. Miller faces charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving death, failure to render aid, failure to give immediate notice of a crash, and failure to report a crash.
