Tuesday’s Storms Trap Putnam County Resident, Several Motorists Stranded

Tuesday’s storms caused massive flooding in Putnam County with numerous water rescues reported.  In  the city of Cookeville, several motorists were stranded as they tried to drive through the flooded roadways.  The storm also downed power lines and trees.  One woman was trapped in her home when a tree fell on the roof and crashed through her living room.  She was not injured.
