Body Found in Coalmont Saturday Believed to be Missing Grundy County Man

The Grundy Sheriff’s Office said a body was located in a wooded area in Coalmont Saturday evening. Authorities believe the deceased is Shawn Jacobs who was reported missing on August 3^rd.  Jacobs’ vehicle was located Thursday morning in Grundy County. An autopsy will confirm his identity. The investigation is still an ongoing.
